The non-woven wipes industry is pivoting hard towards sustainability. Faced with plastic waste concerns and stricter regulations, manufacturers are now prioritizing eco-friendly solutions.

The focus is on two key innovations: plant-based materials and advanced recycling. Leading brands are rapidly adopting fibers like bamboo, cotton, and wood pulp, bonded with bio-plastics that break down in industrial composters. Simultaneously, significant R&D is going into creating truly flushable wipes that disintegrate rapidly, preventing sewer blockages.

This green transition is no longer a niche trend but a core business strategy, driven by consumer demand for effective products that don't compromise on environmental responsibility.

WIPEX Company is also making continuous efforts in this regard. This year, the company has launched new bamboo fibre products that are environmentally friendly and biodegradable. For packaging, a kraft paper outer bag has been designed to minimise the space wastage caused by cardboard packaging, as well as the timber resources required for cardboard production.
